How to use the rest of the site

Welcome back and as I said in the last blog I am going to be talking about how you can make the best use of the site itself.

Hopefully you will want to use the site in all its different ways in order help your quality of life improve. One of the ways you can do that is to use the forum. Forums are great as they help people connect as well as being an opportunity to share problems and issues and not feel quite so alone. Forums are also a way to help view situations from many other points of view and can help you develop new and perhaps healthier ways of thinking, perceiving and being. Sometimes we all need to step outside of our box, but often there is no one there to either express our ideas to, neither is there anyone to listen. A forum is the place where all this is possible, so please take advantage of it and use it.

One of the things I like so much about having this forum here is the opportunity for you to express how you feel to people who will understand exactly what you are talking about. From what I have experienced on forums the support you can get is amazing, in fact there is nothing like it.

Forums bring people together to share problems and find solutions, which I think is such a wonderful thing. On a forum you don’t need to feel alone, don’t need to feel there is no one there to talk to or that there is no one who will be there to listen. You don’t need to feel you are being judged by anyone or that what you say is not valid. Everything you say will be shared, validated and respected by those on the forum, so what could be better?

For all these reasons I decided to include a forum on the site so that there will be a genuine feeling of community, respect and understanding.

You can contribute to all this, and as much as you will be contributing, you will be able to receive the same sort of support back, which is wonderful.

You can help make the forum successful and you will help shape it, so please don’t be shy, use it and take from it whatever you need.

Another way to benefit from the site is to go to the articles library where I have written quite a number of self help articles. They are not academic type articles, just self help where some refer to CBT issues, some to such questions as “The meaning of life” some take a real good look at some mistakes we make when communicating and some look at how our perception can be a little wrong sometimes. There are articles on conscious awareness, on living in the present, on negative thinking, conditioning and lastly on how our belief system can become outdated and become a contributor to loss of quality in our life. This is all material that is food for thought and well worth taking advantage of.

You are also invited to write into the site with your own thoughts and ideas. I am more than happy to publish what you write as it is so valuable and will always be more food for thought for all of us.

So please take advantage of the whole site where you will be able to benefit in so many ways. Take as little or as much as you want and make sure you feel nourished in some way from being a part of this community.

I think that’s all for now and this third blog concludes my introduction. In the next blog we will start looking at life issues, how they affect us and looking at what we can do to bring about positive change for ourselves.

Thank you for reading..

Looking forward to much more
